About · a club at the UNWE Career Development Centre
Furnata is a business and career club at the UNWE Career Development Centre. We bring together young people who want to build something of their own or reach the profession they want.
We want every young person with drive to have a clear path: from a first idea to pitching to investors, or from a degree to an internship.
The club gives structure, community and connections. Progress depends on what each person does, not on showing up.
At this age you can already register your own company.
The club is based at UNWE but open to students from other universities.
If you have an idea, you develop it. If not, you create one with a team.
Choose Startup, Career or both branches.
Two branches with a shared foundation. You can be in both.
Shared by everyone: financial literacy and choosing a direction, with our partners from MoneyMinds.
Institutional home
Furnata is a club at the Inter-University Career Development Centre (ICCD). The Centre runs the career branch and the link with employers.
Part of the Centre
Supports the teams in Level 2, the accelerator and Demo Day.
Partner
A youth organisation for financial literacy and entrepreneurship with 900+ participants at its forums. Together we run Level 0.
The club complements the UNWE Start-Up Hub and the “Best Student Start-Up” contest. It does not compete with them; it prepares the people and teams who go on to them.
2026/27 is the pilot year. The first Demo Day is at the end of April 2027.
